LPG EXTRACTION PLANT BUKIT TUA
Bukit Tua LPG Extraction Plant owned by PT Arsynergy Resources, utilized the latest Turbo Expander with Score-B license from Ortloff, USA. It has capacity of 40 MMSCFD, that can be operated up to 50 MMSCFD.
The Plant is located in Kawasan Industri Maspion, Gresik, East Java. The LPG Extraction Plant refines and process Raw Gas (Rich Gas) from Petronas Carigali Ketapang 2 Limited (“PCK2L”), to produce LPG, Condensate and Lean Gas.
The Raw Gas that is refined and processed by PT Arsynergy Resources’s LPG Extraction Plant is a Rich Gas (Associated Gas) with high LPG and Condensate content, up to 10%. The Raw Gas is delivered from Bukit Tua Oil & Gas Field, owned by PCK2L, through 110 km subsea pipeline to PCK2L’s ORF, located in Kawasan Industri Maspion, Gresik.
The Raw Gas is allocated as fuel for Power Plant of PT PJB Unit Pembangkitan Gresik. However, since the Raw Gas has very high content of LPG and Condensate, the Raw Gas has to be cleaned first in PT Arsynergy Resources’ LPG Extraction Plant. After cleaned, the Gas (Lean Gas) is then distributed to PT PJB. With this role, PT Arsynergy Resources is eligible to claim Carbon Credit.
If PCK2L’s Raw Gas is not processed in PT Arsynergy Resources’ LPG Extraction Plant, then the Raw Gas will reduce the efficiency and damage the Gas Turbine of PT PJB’s Power Plant.
